Privacy policy
Online BG Remover is designed to protect your privacy. This policy explains what we process, what we store, and how we handle optional advertising features.
Local processing
Images are processed entirely in your browser using on-device segmentation. We do not upload your photos to a server and we do not store them. Files remain in memory only while you use the tool.
When you reset the tool or close the page, the images are removed from memory. We do not use localStorage for images or image metadata.
Analytics
Online BG Remover does not require analytics to function. If analytics are enabled in the future, they will be limited to aggregated, non-identifying usage metrics.
Advertising
Ads are optional and controlled by environment variables. When enabled, third-party ad providers such as Google AdSense may set cookies or collect usage data according to their policies. You can disable ads by omitting NEXT_PUBLIC_ADSENSE_PUB_ID or setting NEXT_PUBLIC_ENV to a non-production value.
